Born 1973 in Sweden, he has a Bachelor’s of Art in Economics & Global Studies, summa cum laude, from PLU in Washington, USA, and is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst. The last 22 years, with 14 years experience on an institutional level, he has actively pursued generating investment returns in the world markets. In 1995 he established Albina Fuel’s expansion into the natural gas industry and pursued other ventures & acquisitions of interest to the company, as well as investments for the company profit-sharing fund with great success. In 1997 he joined Crabbe Huson Group in Portland, Oregon as a generalist portfolio manager focusing on deep discount value and special situations, with both long and long/short mandates, yielding solid results as an investor and as a member of the asset allocation committee. As a portfolio manager at LF Capital (AUM $2 billion), New York in 2000 he continued his investing efforts with value and special situations focus, achieving solid outperformance returns for clients. In August 2001 he joined SKAGEN funds, and became lead portfolio manager for SKAGEN Global, a broadly defined global fund of NOK 2,5 billion. Under his command and by delivering world class performance SKAGEN Global is by the end of 2009 one of the largest Global funds in Europe with assets under management of over NOK 43 billion. The much acclaimed SKAGEN Global fund he managed from 2001 until early 2010 yielded a return of 238,3 %, or 15,4 % per annum. The world index returned a total of 1,3 % or 0,15 % per annum during the same period. It is during this period considered to be one the best global funds worldwide (out of over 1.300), according to Standard & Poor’s, Citywire, Morningstar, Wassum and other independent rating experts, both on an absolute and on a risk-adjusted return basis. |
Born 1972 in Sweden, he has a Master of Science of Business Studies and Economics from Uppsala University, Sweden. 1995-97 he worked as risk manager at the insurance company WASA and in 1997-99 he worked with tactical asset allocation at the insurance company LF Asset Management. In 1999 he joined Friends, Ivory & Sime in New York, who had the mandate to manage the US equity portfolio for LF. Then, in 2000, he helped setting up a new office for LF in New York where he got the responsibilities for stock picking in the consumer and financial sector. In 2003, he left New York to start ADEOS Fondförvaltning, the first global market neutral hedge fund in Scandinavia. In 2006 the fund company assumed the management of two hedge funds focusing on derivatives trading, Edge and Explora, and Jonas was responsible fund manager for those funds. He then joined Lundmark & Co Fondförvaltning in 2007 who launched the first fully UCITS III compliant equity fund (Europa Aktiv) in Sweden. |
Omid was born 1981 in Iran and has lived and worked on three continents. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Law from University of Lund, and has studies at the University of British Columbia. 2003-2005 he worked at various law firms, including Vinge where he worked with Sven A. Olsson, Labrusca’s Chairman of the Board. In 2005-2006 he worked with Corporate Finance at Enskilda Securities (now SEB Enskilda) with various projects including the IPO of Gant. 2006-2010 he was portfolio manager on SKAGEN Global together with Filip Weintraub. |
Anders was born 1959 in Sweden and is a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA). In 1992 he started working in the asset management industry. With various positions as Portfolio Manager, CIO, CFO and COO in various companies including ABN AMRO, Länsförsäkringar and Wasa Insurance, Anders has achieved a broad international experience. |
Born 1973 in Sweden, Stefan is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He previously worked as an analyst at a US Hedge Fund, Genesee Investments, where he performed investment analysis, structuring of privately placed convertible instruments and model building for real time analysis of various other strategies in the risk arbitrage world. He then spent close to 10 years working as a quality assurance engineer at the software company Sunguard Front Arena in Stockholm, developing trading platforms for banks and hedge funds where he covered practically all existing types of financial instruments. |

During her studies she worked at Avanza Bank with fund transaction and insurances. John Johnson, Advisory Board ChairmanJohn was born in 1937 in the US and entered the investment business with Merrill Lynch in New York in 1961 after receiving his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Monmouth University. He was an early member of the firm’s institutional research effort in foreign securities, mining and precious metals. This involvement in precious metals, floating exchange rates and international trade provide him with an early exposure to global investing. John transitioned to portfolio management came in 1968 when he became the portfolio manager for the Composite Fund and the Composite Bond and Stock Fund. In the years to follow, he was involved as the Chief Investment Officer or Managing Partner of a number of investment management companies that either adopted or reinstituted the contrarian style of investing. |
